Cold One

Something to look forward to, at least. This day? It didn't disappoint. Missed deadlines. Unprofessional colleagues. Forgotten promises. Cancelled social plans. A flat bike tire. The alienation of working either at home or at the office. It's 4 pm now... whatever, emails be damned. You crack it, toss the cap into the trash with a slam dunk, and take that first slow sip. This is maybe the best thing you've ever tasted, you think. This is your beer. There are many beers like it, but this one is yours.
